In hydrocarbon reservoirs the pore space is saturated by multiphase fluids, characterized by capillary forces and effective permeabilities, which depend of saturation. This work uses an extension of Biot’stheory to model waves propagation in porous rocks saturated by two-phasefluids. The theory includes capillary forces and interferences between the two fluid phases as they flow within the pore space. It predicts the existence of three compressional waves, (one fast and two slow) and one shear(fast) wave.

En 1855 el ingeniero y pintor francés Carlos Enrique Pellegrini, padre del Dr. Carlos Pellegrini, propuso al rector de la Universidad de Buenos Aires crear la carrera de Ingeniería. El proyecto se concretó finalmente en 1865, a impulso del rector Juan María Gutiérrez, con la conformación del Departamento de Ciencias Exactas de la UBA. En 2025 se cumplen 160 años de dicha creación, que dio inicio a la primera carrera de ingeniería de Argentina. Ingeniería civil fue la primera de una larga lista de carreras que se irán creando hasta el presente, conformando todas ellas lo que doy en llamar una familia de carreras. Cabe mencionar que en la UBA existe también la carrera de ingeniero agrónomo, que se incorporó en 1909 y actualmente se dicta en la Facultad de Agronomía. A través del tiempo, se han ido no solo creando carreras sino también modificando y cambiando las existentes, mayoritariamente en forma aislada y en muy pocas oportunidades en forma integral. Las trayectorias académicas en esta familia de carreras se conectan, desde ya, en las ciencias básicas, pero también en las ciencias de la ingeniería que comparten de a grupos y cada vez más en las tecnologías. Es muy interesante, y diría obligado, saber el origen y la evolución de cada una de nuestras carreras para entender no solo su posicionamiento actual, sino las posibles trayectorias futuras. Por un lado, como la unidad académica parte de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, que formó a los primeros y primeras ingenieros e ingenieras en nuestro país y que ha transitado la evolución de las carreras, sostenemos las carreras clásicas de la ingeniería, en las que hemos ido contemplando lo que actualmente llamamos áreas de orientaciones para contener las distintas ramas que se han ido generando dentro de ellas (algunas de estas orientaciones son carreras en sí mismas en el sistema universitario argentino). Por otro lado, creamos carreras cuando estas son disruptivas, fundamentalmente porque incorporan nuevas ciencias básicas y/o ciencias de ingeniería, como por ejemplo la carrera de Bioingeniería. En 1986 se reformaron los planes de estudio de todas las carreras de Ingeniería de la UBA conformando la primera reforma integral, con la principal motivación de actualizar los planes y superar los de la última dictadura cívico militar. Los planes de estudio 1986 constituyeron una gran modernización no solo de contenidos sino de métodos. Entre ellos se encontraban el pase de asignaturas anuales a cuatrimestrales, la incorporación de los sistemas de créditos, la promoción de asignaturas optativas, el sistema de dictado de asignaturas teórico-práctico, la incorporación de la tesis de grado, proyecto final o trabajo profesional según la carrera y la generación del llamado Encuadre General de las carreras de ingeniería. En 2018 comenzó el Proyecto Plan 2020 con objetivos, métodos y recursos para establecer nuevas reglas para la reforma de los planes de estudio de todas las carreras de Ingeniería de la UBA y la creación de nuevas carreras, conformando la segunda reforma integral en la historia de la facultad, con el principal objetivo de actualizar la oferta académica de grado y posgrado. Los motivadores fundamentales fueron internos y externos a la enseñanza. Los internos fueron mejorar ciertos indicadores como la duración real de las carreras, los niveles de abandono y en consecuencia los porcentajes de egresados y egresadas. Los externos fueron los relacionados a la tremenda ola que nos toca vivir con la llamada 4ta. Revolución Industrial, que podríamos llamar la revolución de todas las ingenierías, y que hoy ya podríamos mencionar como la 5ta y la 6ta. Al momento, el Proyecto Plan 2020, que sigue vigente, ha generado un Marco Curricular a través del que se han modificado 11 de nuestras carreras desde 2023, quedando sólo una pendiente y habiendo creado, además, una nueva oferta de grado: Bioingeniería. El Proyecto Plan 2020 nos deja como principales modificaciones, un título intermedio, áreas de orientaciones exclusivas de las carreras, áreas de orientaciones interdisciplinarias, una mejor planificación de los cuatrimestres centrada en la realidad de nuestros estudiantes, normalización de créditos en algunas actividades académicas como el Trabajo Final Integrador, acortamiento de las carreras (en tiempo de constantes cambios tecnológicos), una mejor conexión y coordinación con los posgrados. En líneas generales, por un lado, cuestiones nuevas y, por otro lado, normalización de otras cuestiones para todas las carreras, estableciendo un piso de calidad para todos los trayectos. Como decano de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad de Buenos Aires me complace presentar este trabajo que por primera vez en la historia documenta la evolución de nuestras carreras de ingeniería en nuestra Casa de Altos Estudios, empezando por la de origen, la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales, que en 1952 se desdobla para conformar las actuales facultades de Ingeniería y de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales. Para entender el presente y para poder planificar los posibles futuros es necesario conocer la historia de lo que se trate, entender la trayectoria. Seguramente, así podemos planificar mejor nuestro futuro, sostener proyectos con mayor probabilidad de éxito, y en paralelo sentirnos motivados por el orgullo que representa ser los primeros y las primeras, mientras seguimos formando ingenieros e ingenieras.

Abstract

Este trabajo trata de la implementación de una actividad curricular electiva para los alumnos de la carrera de Ingeniería en Agrimensura de la UNLP. Estas actividades introducen un grado de flexibilidad en el plan de estudios, permitiendo a los estudiantes reforzar competencias según el perfil de la carrera, la región o sus intereses y se incorporan en su currícula académica. Esta actividad en particular tiene como finalidad introducir a los alumnos en la aplicación de los criterios de la metrología dimensional en mediciones topográficas. Además, brinda la posibilidad de participar en actividades desarrolladas por un grupo de investigación y transferencia de la facultad, enriqueciendo así su formación con diferentes puntos de vista y perspectivas. Para el desarrollo de esta actividad se utiliza la línea base del Departamento de Agrimensura de la Facultad de Ingeniería. Se aplican procedimientos de medición que permiten controlar la repetibilidad y la constante aditiva o constante del prisma en la medida de distancias con Estación Total. A su vez estas medidas contribuyen a la serie histórica de medidas de la base.

Desde el año 2022 trabajamos, en el Departamento de Agrimensura, en un proyecto de investigación, cuyo objetivo es optimizar el proceso de georreferenciación de parcelas en la provincia de Santiago del Estero. A partir de un convenio con la Dirección General de Catastro de la Provincia de Santiago del Estero, contamos con los archivos de procesamiento de un total de 2534 operaciones de georreferenciación realizadas con instrumental doble frecuencia, hasta marzo de 2024 en la provincia. Por otra parte, PPP-Ar (Posicionamiento Puntual Preciso Argentino), es un servicio, en línea y gratuito, que brinda el IGN, el cual permite a los usuarios de la tecnología GNSS obtener coordenadas precisas vinculadas al marco de referencia geodésico POSGAR07, a partir del envío de datos en formato RINEX de receptores doble frecuencia que operan en modo estático. A mediados de 2023 comenzamos a analizar, como alternativa, el uso de PPP-Ar para la georrefenciación de parcelas en Santiago del Estero; para lo cual seleccionamos operaciones agrimensurales distribuidas en el territorio, conforme al porcentaje del total de operaciones en cada departamento provincial. Así los archivos RINEX de las operaciones seleccionadas fueron reprocesados utilizando el servicio de PPP-Ar y sus resultados comparados con los obtenidos en los procesamientos originales de dichas operaciones. Actualmente llevamos comparados los resultados de 310 operaciones agrimensurales, según el procedimiento establecido en la normativa. Las diferencias promedio obtenidas, entre el procesamiento con PPP-Ar y seleccionadas para el ensayo, se encuentran dentro de un entorno de los 24 cm. Considerando que hemos contrastado un 12,23% de las operaciones, los resultados obtenidos resultan muy alentadores, con lo cual, en los primeros meses del 2025, año de finalización del proyecto, estaríamos en condiciones de recomendar a la Dirección General de Catastro de la provincia la adopción del servicio de PPP-Ar, como alternativa para la georreferenciación de parcelas rurales.
