Resumen: Los objetivos centrales del presente trabajo de investigación son la síntesis y caracterización de óxidos mixtos de CeO2 - ZrO2, y el estudio de la viabilidad de su uso como materiales de ánodo de celdas de combustible de óxido sólido (SOFC) que operen a temperaturas entre 600ºC y 800ºC. Se proponen como objetivos adicionales el estudio de las condiciones de síntesis y su influencia en las características morfológicas, redox y catalíticas de los materiales obtenidos, el estudio del desempeño electrocatalático en distintas atmósferas, y la construcción de una pequeña celda botón de dos cámaras con el material anódico seleccionado.
The main objectives of this research work are the synthesis and characterization of CeO2– ZrO2 mixed oxides and the study of the feasibility of their use as anode materials of solid oxide fuels cells (SOFCs) operated at temperatures between 600◦C and 800◦C. The study of the influence of the synthesis conditions on the morphological, redox and catalytic performance, the study of the electrocatalytic behavior in different atmospheres, and the construction of small dual-chamber button cells with one of the synthesized material selected to constitute the anode, are proposed as additional goals to achieve.

En la actualidad, se observa con mucha frecuencia la búsqueda de materiales sostenibles para reemplazar productos que contribuyen significativamente a las emisiones globales de dióxido de carbono. En esta investigación se elaboraron geopolímeros en base a zeolitas naturales ecuatorianas activadas alcalinamente y con un reforzamiento de quitosano, que es un biopolímero proveniente del desecho de las cáscaras de camarón ecuatoriano, con la finalidad de presentar un producto que sea amigable con el ambiente y a la vez que presente propiedades antibacterianas. Para esto se utilizaron concentraciones de 0.075%, 0.1%, 0.125% y 0.150% de quitosano en la matriz del geopolímero. Se evaluaron sus actividades antibacterianas, sus propiedades fisicoquímicas y mecánicas. En los resultados obtenidos se observa que al incorporar quitosano en la matriz, el material incrementa su densidad con la incorporación de quitosano y en consecuencia se incrementa la resistencia a la compresión. Además, se observa que el material si presenta actividad antibacteriana con mejor efectividad para inhibir el crecimiento de bacterias Gram – negativas y en menor porcentaje en bacterias Gram – positivas. En el análisis de sostenibilidad se determinó que el material es sostenible por reutilizar desechos como materia prima y durante el proceso de fabricación las emisiones de dióxido de carbono son reducidas en comparación a la producción del concreto convencional.
Nowadays, the search for sustainable materials to replace products that contribute significantly to global carbon dioxide emissions is very frequently observed. In this research, geopolymers were made based on alkaline activated Ecuadorian natural zeolites and with a reinforcement of chitosan, which is a biopolymer from the waste of Ecuadorian shrimp shells, in order to present a product that is friendly to the environment and it could have antibacterial properties. For this, concentrations of 0,075%, 0,1%, 0,125% and 0,150% of chitosan were used in the geopolymer matrix. Its antibacterial activities, physicochemical and mechanical properties were evaluated. In the results obtained, it is observed that by incorporating chitosan in the matrix, the material increases its density with the incorporation of chitosan and consequently the resistance to compression increases. In addition, it is observed that the material does present antibacterial activity with better effectiveness to inhibit the growth of Gram-negative bacteria and to a lesser extent in Gram-positive bacteria. The sustainability analysis, indicated that the material is sustainable by reusing waste as raw material and during the manufacturing process, carbon dioxide emissions are reduced compared to the production of conventional concrete.

En este trabajo se presenta el diseño e implementación de un sistema de medición de humedad de suelo en tres profundidades para la agroindustria. Este proyecto fue desarrollado en el marco del programa de vinculación laboral entre Smartium S.A. y la Carrera de Especialización en Sistemas Embebidos de la UBA. El sistema desarrollado es capaz de recopilar datos de humedad de suelo y transmitirlos a través de una red inalámbrica de largo alcance. Los sensores de humedad utilizados, son de desarrollo propio y cuentan con interfaz I2C. Adicionalmente, el sistema desarrollado trabaja sobre mbedOS, un sistema operativo de tiempo de real diseñado específicamente para el Internet de las cosas. Para el desarrollo de este trabajo fueron requeridos los conocimientos adquiridos en sistemas operativos de tiempo real, para usar el framework del módulo, protocolos de comunicación, para desarrollar las bibliotecas de los componentes, diseño de PCBs y diseño para manufacturabilidad, para elaborar el circuito impreso, y gestión de proyectos para estructurar el desarrollo del trabajo.

En la presente memoria se hace una descripción de un sistema de detección de anomalías en buses de comunicación. Con este trabajo, requerido por la empresa INVAP, se colabora con la industria nacional en el desarrollo de herramientas que brinden confiabilidad en los sistemas de información complejos, como lo son los satélites. En la ejecución del sistema se utilizaron fundamentos de preprocesamiento de datos, redes LSTM, Autoencoders, Restricted Boltzmann Machines e Isolation Forest, entre otros modelos de redes neuronales.

La presente memoria describe el desarrollo de un prototipo de Internet de las cosas para aplicaciones biométricas y de control de acceso.
El mismo surge a partir de un análisis en el que se determinó la potencialidad de mercado de un equipo que ofrezca mayores prestaciones a un menor precio y con mayor soporte local que la competencia.
Para la realización del proyecto se aplicaron conocimientos referidos a control de versiones de software, gestión y arquitectura de datos, diseño de circuitos impresos, protocolos de comunicación e ingeniería de software.

La presente memoria describe el desarrollo de un sistema de adquisición de datos para maquinaria pesada de vía (Bateadoras). Este surge por la necesidad de contar con datos en tiempo real de las mediciones geométricas para generar reportes del estado de vía con la finalidad de identificar cualquier problema que afecte el estado de los trenes. Este trabajo se realiza para la empresa Trenes Argentinos y constituye una valiosa herramienta para la mejora continua en la
gestión y el mantenimiento correctivo de la infraestructura ferroviaria.
Para su implementación fueron fundamentales los conocimientos adquiridos durante la carrera, en especial tecnologías como Angular, MQTT proporcionando una valiosa herramienta para la mejora continua en la gestión eficiente y el mantenimiento correctivo de la infraestructura ferroviaria

Abstract

En la presente memoria se describe el desarrollo de un sistema de adquisición portátil para medición de parámetros biomédicos en animales grandes desarrollado para la Universidad Favaloro. En particular, se tiene interés en la medición de la velocidad de onda de pulso (VOP), cuyo método más aceptado de cálculo consiste en el registro simultáneo de señales de presión intraarterial en dos puntos del árbol arterial. Conociendo la distancia y el desfasaje temporal entre estas mediciones de presión, se puede estimar la VOP como su cociente. Para este proyecto se utilizaron en forma intensiva los contenidos y herramientas de la Carrera de Especialización en Sistemas Embebidos (CESE). Se pusieron en práctica técnicas de Gestión de Proyectos, documentación manual y automática del trabajo, sistema de versionado de software y hardware y conceptosfundamentales de Ingeniería de Software. Se emplearon conocimientos específicos sobre arquitectura del microcontrolador, modelos de programación, sistema operativo de tiempo r al freeRTOS, protocolos de comunicación (Bluetooth, SPI, USB, y de alto nivel) y testing unitarios, entre otros. Se logró desarrollar el firmware y el hardware de un dispositivo electrónico portátil capaz registrar dos entradas analógicas de presión durante un período de alrededor de 24 horas, con conectividad Bluetooth para comunicación y configuración, y conexión USB para descargar los archivos y cargar la batería.

La alineación láser-telescopio es un factor clave en los Sistemas Lidar, y su configuración es determinante en la calidad de la señal lidar obtenida. Los procedimientos de alineación varían según la experiencia del operador, desde procedimientos detallados paso-a-paso hasta la inspección visual de rangos particulares de las señales lidar. Este procedimiento debe ser realizado por un operador lidar experto, siendo difícil de mantener en los sistemas operativos de redes lidar. En este trabajo se presenta un software para asistir en el procedimiento de alineación. A través de una interfaz clara, se ayuda al operador del lidar a lograr una correcta alineación, utilizando una técnica de análisis denominada Rayleith-Fit en tiempo real sobre la señal lidar adquirida. Se muestran las principales características y escenarios de trabajo.
Laser-telescope alignment is a key factor in a Lidar System, and its setup determinesthe lidar signal quality. Procedures to accomplish this task may vary depending on the operator, from detailed step-by-step procedures till visual inspection of particular ranges of the lidar signals. This procedure should be performed by an expertised lidar operator, being difficult to maintain in operational systems. In this work, a software to aim the alignment procedure is presented. With a clear interface, it helps the lidar operator to approach the right alignment state based on a live Rayleigh-fit applied to the acquired lidar signal. Main features and working scenarios are shown.
