La producción de cerdos es explotada en todo el mundo, en los países cuya religión y cultura lo permiten. Los efectos de la producción intensiva se magnifican debido a los crecientes volúmenes de estiércol, la proliferación de vectores, la emisión de olores desagradables y la contaminación de los recursos naturales. El manejo de efluente de cerdo, desde el momento en que se generan hasta su valorización o destrucción, debe ser controlada para minimizar los riesgos a la salud humana, animal y la contaminación ambiental. La inclusión de la digestión anaeróbica en la estrategia de tratamiento de este tipo de efluente reporta ventajas como: evitar emisiones de compuestos orgánicos volátiles, controlar los olores, mineralizar nutrientes, eliminar patógenos y recuperar energía a través del metano generado. El objetivo de este proyecto de investigación fue evaluar el proceso anaeróbico de un reactor a escala piloto, alimentado diariamente con efluentes de cerdo. Para hacer esto, se determinaron parámetros fisicoquímicos, ecotoxicológicos y microbiológicos en el efluente crudo de cerdo y en el digestato, durante la puesta en marcha y en la etapa estable. La producción de biogás se determinó diariamente mediante el uso de un gasómetro de desplazamiento líquido y la concentración de metano se midió usando cromatografía de gases. El pH del efluente crudo se mantuvo en 7.2 y el digerido se estabilizó en 7.9. Para esta investigación, el pH no se consideró una buena variable de control, debido a que efluentes con altas concentraciones de alcalinidad, provocan tiempos de reacción demasiado lentos para controlar el sistema. En la etapa estable, hubo una disminución del 66% y 56%, en los parámetros de remoción para SV y para DQO respectivamente, que coincidió con el aumento en la concentración de FAN (57%) y AGV (92%) dentro del reactor, siendo estos últimos dos compuestos inhibidores del proceso cuando se encuentran en altas concentraciones. La producción de biogás fue de 67.23 L/día con 73% de metano, la eliminación de patógenos fue eficiente y los bioensayos ecotoxicológicos mostraron alta toxicidad tanto del efluente crudo como del digerido. Los resultados mostraron que el reactor presentó una buena performance en el inicio del proceso, sin embargo, disminuyo la carga orgánica diaria debido a fenómenos de inestabilidad ocurridos cuando la concentración de amonio dentro del reactor aumento. Por otro lado, la calidad final del digerido con respecto a los parámetros fisicoquímicos y ecotoxicológicos demuestra la necesidad de realizar un post tratamiento previo a su vuelco al ambiente. Swine production is exploited all over the world, in countries its religion and culture allow it. The effects of the intensive production are magnified by the increasing volumes of manure, vectors proliferation, unpleasant odors emissions and natural resources pollution. The management of pig slurry, from its generation to their valorization or destruction, must be controlled to minimize the risks to human and animal health, as well as environmental pollution. For pig slurries, the inclusion of anaerobic digestion in the treatment strategy provides some advantages: reduction of volatile organic compound emissions, odors control, nutrients mineralization, reduction of pathogens content and energy recovery through methane generation. The aim of this research was to evaluate the anaerobic process of a pilot-scale reactor, fed daily with swine slurries. To this purpose physical-chemical, ecotoxicological and microorganism’s parameters were determined in raw pig slurry as well as in the digestate, during the startup and in the steady state stage. Biogas production was determined daily by mean of liquid displacement gasometers. Methane concentration was measured using gas chromatography. The pH of the raw effluent ranged around 7.2 and the digestate was stabilized at 7.9. For this research, the pH was not considered a good control variable, because reaction times were too slow to provide a good process control. In the steady state stage, there was a decrease in the removal parameters of 66% and 56% respectively for SV and DQO coincidentally with an increase in the FAN (57%) and AGV (92%) concentrations within the reactor, being these parameters inhibitors of the process. The production of biogas was 67.23 L/days with 73% methane content, the removal of pathogens was efficient and the ecotoxicological bioassays showed high toxicity for both the raw effluent and the digestate. The results showed that the reactor presented a satisfactory performance at the beginning of the process, however, it was required to decrease the daily organic load due to instability phenomena occurred when the concentration of ammonium within the reactor increased. El trabajo de tesis propone una metodología para determinar la red eléctrica de distribución de baja tensión (BT) técnica y económicamente adaptada, en un escenario aleatorio de incorporación de generación distribuida fotovoltaica (GDFV). Una red es adaptada cuando está diseñada minimizando los costos totales (fijos y variables) y optimizando el equipamiento para satisfacer adecuadamente la demanda (tanto la demanda actual como su crecimiento esperado). El método propuesto, basado en la práctica habitual, incorpora el concepto de Hosting Capacity (HC) o Factor de Capacidad estadístico (FCE). Se toman como objeto de estudio redes de BT típicas del área metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA). Las redes son resueltas mediante un flujo de potencia estadístico, tomando como variables aleatorias la demanda residencial, la penetración de GDFV y la potencia y localización de los generadores fotovoltaicos dentro de la red. Mediante esta metodología se obtiene el factor de capacidad estadístico (FCE), el cual es usado para realizar el estudio técnico-económico de la red. Finalmente se obtiene la red adaptada para cada nivel de penetración de GDFV. En este estudio es el usuario quien decide instalar en cualquier punto de la red una potencia de generación (menor o igual a su potencia contratada), con independencia de si esto es óptimo o no para la red. Esto implica la exclusión del costo de los generadores en el cómputo de la red, por considerárselo un factor exógeno a la planificación de red. Se trata de una mirada desde la perspectiva de la empresa distribuidora de energía, la cual debe establecer de antemano la red técnica y económicamente adaptada para cada posible estado de penetración de GDFV. The thesis work proposes a methodology to determine the technically and economically adapted low voltage (LV) electrical distribution network, in a random scenario of incorporating photovoltaic distributed generation (PVDG). A network is adapted when it is designed minimizing total costs (fixed and variable) and optimizing equipment to adequately meet demand (both current demand and its expected growth). The proposed method, based on common practice, incorporates the concept of Hosting Capacity (HC) or Statistical Capacity Factor (FCE). Typical LV networks of the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires (AMBA) are taken as the object of study. The networks are resolved by means of a statistical power flow, taking residential demand, PVDG penetration and the power and location of the photovoltaic generators within the network as random variables. Through this methodology, the statistical capacity factor (FCE) is obtained, which is used to carry out the technical-economic study of the network. Finally, the adapted network is obtained for each level of PVDG penetration. In this study, it is the user who decides to install generation power at any point in the network (less than or equal to their contracted power), regardless of whether or not this is optimal for the network. This implies the exclusion of the cost of the generators in the calculation of the network, as it is considered an exogenous factor to the planning of the network. This is a look from the perspective of the energy distribution company, which must establish in advance the technically and economically adapted network for each possible state of PVDG penetration. En el presente trabajo se propone una nueva forma de exploracion de la actividad electrica cardiaca, desarrollando un dispositivo portatil con dos derivaciones ortogonales, junto con la interfaz grafica que permita la visualizacion de las señales registradas. Con el objeto de comparar los resultados obtenidos se realiza un estudio de la generacion de las señales cardiacas, el modelo del dipolo, las derivaciones estandar de los ECG convencionales y su funcionamiento. Se muestran resultados del prototipo implementado, y un analisis comparativo entre señales de control y patologicas, y entre registros tomados con el dispositivo y con un electrocardiografo convencional. Las señales obtenidas con el dispositivo permiten diagnosticar ciertas patologias como los bloqueos de rama. Ademas, con el modelo matematico de proyeccian del vectocardiograma sobre el torso del paciente propuesto aqui, se hace posible explorar computacionalmete los lugares donde el explorador portatil es util en la deteccion de patologias.
