Abstract

En esta tesis se exponen los resultados de investigar y diseñar una propuesta experimental para controlar un sistema robótico móvil que pueda realizar interacciones con personas mediante el procesamiento de secuencias de imágenes. En primer lugar se investigaron so luciones, métodos y algoritmos existentes para diseñar la arquitectura del sistema mediante el uso e integración de diferentes modelos teóricos. Una vez modelado el problema y los escenarios de uso, se describen las decisiones de diseño de la estructura propuesta para una implementación particular. Para garantizar la factibilidad de la propuesta, se realizaron simulaciones, iteraciones en los modelos y experimentos dentro las condiciones de labora torio disponibles. La arquitectura propuesta en este trabajo involucra consideraciones en cuanto a métodos de exploración, navegación, mapeo y localización del robot referentes al estudio de la robótica probabilística móvil. Además, el trabajo presentado en esta tesis considera el modelado de ciertas formas de interacción humana con el robot mediante el procesamiento de secuencias de imágenes dentro de un flujo continuo de datos. Las señales modeladas en este trabajo fueron trabajadas desde las perspectivas de la teoría de filtros probabilísticos, aprendizaje de máquina, redes neuronales, procesamiento de imágenes y reconocimiento de patrones. Finalmente, también se presenta una implementación particular del sistema propuesto mediante el desarrollo iterativo de código en lenguajes de programación de acceso y uso libre y gratuito, considerando sensores y componentes reales que fueron probados de manera independiente e integrados a la arquitectura propuesta. Los resultados, propuestas futuras y conclusiones obtenidas durante el desarrollo de esta tesis se exponen hacia el final de este documento.

El presente trabajo describe un emprendimiento personal en el que se desarrolla un dispositivo robótico de exploración ambiental, controlable a distancia con las funciones básicas de desplazamiento, medición y reporte de parámetros ambientales tales como presión, temperatura, humedad y luminosidad.
El sistema cuenta con una arquitectura base robusta y flexible sobre la cual otros sensores y actuadores pueden ser adaptados para poder interacturar con el medio ambiente, y logra por tanto brindar una solución que ayuda a incrementar la oferta de robots exploradores en la industria argentina pudiendo ser utilizados en casos de uso de IoT, como por ejemplo en aplicaciones de explotación de petróleo, Smart Mining, Smart Farming, etc.
Para su implementación se utilizaron conceptos y herramientas tales como buenas prácticas en el diseño y desarrollo de firmware, la utilización de sistemas operativos de tiempo real como plataforma de ejecución base, protocolos de comunicaciones para sistemas embebidos, y técnicas y frameworks de testing para asegurar la calidad del producto final.

En este trabajo se describe el desarrollo e implementación de un prototipo de robot móvil para tareas de desinfección por efecto de rayos ultravioletas. El dispositivo puede realizar un recorrido autónomo evitando obstáculos en un ambiente cerrado, o puede controlarse en forma inalámbrica desde una tablet o celular. El dispositivo será utilizado para desinfección en espacios públicos o en el hogar, y como plataforma para actividades de docencia e investigación en el Grupo de Inteligencia Artificial y Robótica de la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional Facultad Regional Buenos Aires. Para el desarrollo de este trabajo fueron fundamentales los conocimientos adquiridos de arquitectura de software, programación de microcontroladores, protocolos de comunicaciones e interfaz con Bluetooth, así como también las metodologías de especificación de requerimientos de software.

Abstract

La presente memoria describe el trabajo realizado para poder ejecutar TockOS en el microprocesador LPC4337 sobre la plataforma EDU-CIA-NXP. TockOS es un sistema operativo de tiempo real escrito en Rust que posee un diseño muy accesible para realizar migraciones a nuevas plataformas. Se enfocó el trabajo en el desarrollo de distintos módulos que se usaron para ejecutar exitosamente hasta dos aplicaciones en simultáneo. La administración de los recursos de la plataforma por parte del sistema operativo permite que los distintos módulos compartan su uso. En la elaboración de este trabajo se aplicaron los conocimientos adquiridos sobre micro-arquitecturas, utilización de sistemas operativos de tiempo real, protocolos de comunicación y programación de micro-controladores.
