El objetivo especı́fico de la Tesis es la investigación, desarrollo e implementación de sistemas para la medición de distancias, que permitan la caracterización de desplazamientos y perfiles de superficies. Se desarrolla un sensor que puede utilizarse como sistema de detección para el sistema de medición considerado. Se estudia la técnica óptica denominada triangulación láser para la medición de distancias y desplazamientos. Se analizan distintas formas de proyección y disposiciones geométricas. Se realizan deducciones de las dimensiones correspondientes al sistema de medición y al detector a emplear para las distintas potenciales aplicaciones con el fin de poder describir, en el rango y con la resolución adecuados, los distintos objetos de estudio, a partir del desarrollo teórico de conceptos fundamentales de óptica geométrica y expresiones analı́ticas que se desprenden del mismo. Se analiza la utilización de distintos tipos de sistemas de detección. Por un lado, se estudian alternativas frecuentemente empleadas, como cámaras digitales. Por otro lado, se analiza la construcción de arreglos discretos de fotodetectores (por ejemplo, fotodiodos) ad-hoc que permitan determinar la ubicación del spot luminoso. Esta propuesta trae la ventaja de permitir realizar una mayor cantidad de mediciones por unidad de tiempo ya que, en principio, podrı́a trabajar a velocidades superiores que las cámaras digitales. Con dicho fin, se realiza un estudio combinado de óptica y electrónica (optoelectrónica), para abordar el diseño del sistema de detección, que involucra tanto la adecuación de señales ópticas como electrónicas para obtener un sistema eficiente. Se diseña un sistema optoelectrónico adecuado para la estimación de la posición de un haz incidente, que consiste en un arreglo lineal de fotodetectores discretos. Se tienen en cuenta los requerimientos de rango de trabajo y resolución correspondientes a la aplicación para la que va a ser utilizado como sistema de detección, mediante la posibilidad de modificar diversos parámetros del sistema a través de los cálculos desarrollados para predecir el comportamiento del sistema. Se estudian y comparan dos topologı́as distintas para el dispositivo de detección. Se analiza el impacto en la respuesta del detector diseñado ante modificaciones del diámetro del haz láser incidente. Se implementa el dispositivo optoelectrónico diseñado correspondiente al caso que en el que el desempeño estimado previamente trae mejores resultados. Hoy en día los radares FMCW son utilizados en innumerables aplicaciones: altímetros para medir la altura al descender un avión, o por ejemplo medidores de velocidad de vehículos y radares de proximidad para evitar choques o para imágenes SAR. En este trabajo se ha estudiado, especificado, modelizado y construido un modelo de ingeniería a modo de prueba de concepto o desarrollo preliminar para identificar las mayores problemáticas y fuentes de incertidumbre presentes a la hora de determinar los parámetros de dispersión de un blanco estático a diferentes distancias. Para la validación y verificación del sistema en su totalidad se ha implementado un simulador, el cual modeliza cada subsistema y se le pueden agregar individualmente distintos tipos de incertidumbre para detectar sus efectos en el sistema en su conjunto. Se presentan todas las caracterizaciones necesarias sobre los distintos subsistemas junto a los bancos de trabajo y criterios adoptados a la hora de elegir las características necesarias de las diferentes posibles tecnologías. Finalmente, se han presentado mediciones de aplicación realizadas utilizando un gabinete metálico y un reflector especialmente construido como blancos. En base a lo anteriormente mencionado se han obtenido conclusiones y se han propuesto diversas líneas futuras a seguir. En el presente trabajo, se caracterizaron transistores de óxido grueso (600 nm) construidos previamente con el fin de ser utilizados como sensores y se evaluó una propuesta de método de medición. Además, se halló un ajuste de los datos obtenidos de las mediciones a través de un modelo basado en los fenómenos físicos involucrados. Se midió la respuesta de los dosímetros frente a distintas tensiones de polarización, la sensibilidad en función de la tensión umbral y del ángulo de incidencia de la radiación, el efecto de fading, el porcentaje de dosis en profundidad, la dependencia con el campo de irradiación y la dependencia del dispositivo con la temperatura. Las caracterizaciones frente a radiación se llevaron a cabo con un acelerador lineal (LINAC) de 6 MV. Al evaluar la sensibilidad con la tensión de polarización de gate se obtuvo para V BIAS = 0 V 74 mV/Gy, y luego aumentando hasta obtener con V BIAS = 24 V 270 mV/Gy. Trabajando con V BIAS = 0 V se obtuvo un rango de medición de 85 Gy con una sensibilidad promedio de 62 mV/Gy. La profundidad de dosis máxima medida fue 1,3 cm, igual que la cámara de ionización usada como referencia. La respuesta angular presentó una variación menor al 8 %. El coeficiente térmico resultó ser -3,5 mV/ o C. Se observó que el modelo numérico reproduce correctamente la respuesta del sensor a la radiación, en particular la sensibilidad del mismo en función de la tensión V BIAS y la evolución con la dosis de la tensión umbral para una tensión V BIAS = 12 V constante. Considerando un único parámetro de ajuste dado por el producto de la densidad de defectos y la tasa de captura de huecos, el error máximo obtenido es menor al 9 %. A partir del ajuste previo, se simuló la respuesta del sensor durante una medición con V BIAS alternado entre 20 V y 0 V, observándose cómo la simulación predice el comportamiento general del sensor. Se propuso y evaluó un sistema de medición que permite utilizar al dosímetro MOS polarizado con un capacitor que evita el uso de cables y permite obtener mayor sensibilidad. Las pruebas realizadas con una fuente de Sr-90 permitieron observar que para un dispositivo previamente irradiado existe un efecto de fading inicial que influye considerablemente en la respuesta. Una vez extinguido este fenómeno las mediciones presentaron valor medio constante y con una dispersión de 2,6 %.
