La demanda de productos saludables crece año a año con la concientización de los consumidores acerca de su alimentación. En este contexto, surge la necesidad de desarrollar aderezos para ensaladas que, además de ser sensorialmente aceptables, aporten beneficios nutricionales. La incorporación de ingredientes funcionales como el yacón y el aceite de canola a la hora de elaborar un aderezo busca un incremento en el valor nutricional del alimento, sumado a un efecto de estabilización física y química. El uso de aceite de canola para la elaboración de un aderezo para ensalada saludable posee efectos beneficiosos para la salud cardiovascular por su concentración de ácidos grasos poliinsaturados como los omega-3 y omega-6, además de ser rico en vitamina E. El yacón (Smallanthus sonchifolius) es un tubérculo andino con alto contenido de fibra dietaria, particularmente fructooligosacáridos, los cuales han mostrado beneficios para la salud. Además, el yacón posee un alto contenido de compuestos fenólicos los cuales son antioxidantes que no solo ayudan a la salud de los consumidores sino también a la estabilidad química de los aderezos. En este trabajo, se evaluó la posibilidad de obtener una formulación de un aderezo para ensalada saludable, a base de jugo de yacón, aceite de canola, bagazo de yacón (subproducto de la obtención del jugo), y distintos preservadores como aceites esenciales y natamicina, mediante la optimización de la estabilidad físicoquímica, microbiológica y sensorial. Para ello se evaluó la distribución, tamaño de gota y potencial zeta; las propiedades reológicas; la estabilidad oxidativa; las propiedades sensoriales y la estabilidad microbiológica frente al desarrollo de Z. bailii. Se obtuvieron emulsiones estables desde un punto de vista electrostático y se observó que la adición de bagazo de yacón y cloruro de sodio, en los máximos niveles estudiados, generó una mayor estabilidad debido a la disminución del tamaño de gota y una mayor estructura. De este modo, se obtuvo la formulación base para el aderezo de ensalada final. Con relación a la estabilidad oxidativa, se observó que el agregado de bagazo de yacón tuvo un efecto antioxidante a lo largo del almacenamiento. La presencia de 250 ppm de aceite esencial de ajo y 125 ppm de coriandro mostró un mayor porcentaje de sabor justo a especias y un destacado índice de agrado en la aceptabilidad global y el olor, sin embargo, estos niveles no fueron suficientes para inhibir el crecimiento de la levadura. La combinación de los aceites esenciales junto con natamicina y el almacenamiento a 5°C permitió lograr el efecto inhibitorio deseado. El aderezo seleccionado (3,00 % bagazo de yacón en fase acuosa, 1,50 % NaCl en fase acuosa, 250 ppm de aceite esencial de ajo, 125 ppm de aceite esencial de coriandro y 24 ppm de natamicina) se destacó nutricionalmente por su composición de ácidos grasos monoinsaturados (omega-9) y poliinsaturadas (omega-3) y su contenido de fibra dietaria, permitiendo rotular como fuente de omega-9 y fuente de omega-3. Además, su contenido de sodio se encuentra en 3% del valor diario recomendado, dentro de un límite aceptable. El avance en diversos campos científico-tecnológicos ha impulsado el desarrollo de vehículos autónomos que operan en distintos dominios tales como terrestres, acuáticos y aéreos. En general, las tareas que realizan se desarrollan de manera individual y el trabajo en conjunto se limita a la coordinación efectuada por quienes operan tales sistemas. Recientemente, ha crecido el interés de conformar sistemas complejos que puedan hacer uso de varios de estos vehículos robóticos de manera coordinada para aprovechar las ventajas de cada uno, así como también permitir la creación de nuevas capacidades. Una de las problemáticas fundamentales, al controlar grupos de robots móviles, es la coordinación de los agentes: habilidad de los mismos de lograr un objetivo común mediante la cooperación. Una parte crucial de cualquier esquema de cooperación de robots móviles es la comunicación entre los mismos y/o con una base terrestre. La conectividad en este caso es un problema complejo, dadas las características de heterogeneidad y movilidad de los agentes, sumadas a sus limitaciones de potencia, cómputo, etc. Este trabajo busca atacar el problema de comunicación en redes de robots móviles de manera integral, considerando las características de los robots, las especificaciones de formaciones y los requerimientos de conectividad de tareas específicas. Además, resulta de gran importancia desarrollar esquemas que permitan la asignación de recursos y roles, identificando el tipo de robot idóneo para cada una de ellas. Esto permite realizar las tareas de manera tal de minimizar el tiempo total, la energía consumida, o maximizar la precisión, entre otras. The advancement in several scientific and technological fields have impulsed the development of unmanned vehicles (also known as mobile robots) that operate in different domains such as terrestrial, marine, and aerial. In general, tasks are performed by one robot and cooperation is limited to the system operators. Recently, there has been a growing interest in conforming complex systems with several robotic vehicles in a coordinated way. This allows to take advantage of each agent’s capabilities and also to generate new collective abilities. One of the fundamental topics regarding the control of a group of mobile robots is associated with their coordination: the ability to achieve a common goal through cooperation. A crucial component in any cooperation scheme is the communication between robots, and with a terrestrial base. Therefore, connectivity arises as a complex problem due to robot heterogeneity, mobility, and the limited available energy, computing power, etc. This work aims to address the communication problem in mobile robot networks in an integrated manner, considering the robots attributes, the formation specifications and the connectivity requirements. Como es bien sabido, el hormigón armado es uno de los materiales más utilizados en la industria de la construcción y el efecto de las altas temperaturas sobre la respuesta de las estructuras que compone puede resultar devastador. El objetivo principal de este trabajo de investigación de maestría es analizar la incidencia de la acción de temperaturas elevadas sobre la resistencia a punzonamiento de elementos de hormigón armado. Para ello, se realiza el relevamiento del estado del arte en lo que respecta a dicho comportamiento a temperatura ambiente y en altas temperaturas, y luego se modela numéricamente un sistema estructural losa - columna de hormigón armado a distintas temperaturas en el rango de 20ºC a 1000ºC. Los resultados obtenidos de la modelación numérica en altas temperaturas son comparados con resultados obtenidos mediante la aplicación del método analítico basado en la Teoría de la Fisura Critica de Corte (CSCT - Critical Shear Crack Theory) y con resultados numéricos obtenidos por otros autores de la bibliografía científica. En particular, en la modelación computacional se utiliza el modelo constitutivo para hormigón denominado Concrete Damage Plasticity (CDP), provisto por el software Abaqus. En dicho modelo se incorporan las modificaciones necesarias para incluir la dependencia de las propiedades termo-mecánicas en función de la temperatura. Finalmente, se realiza un análisis paramétrico considerando como variables principales los índices de daño del modelo constitutivo, las propiedades termomecánicas del acero y del hormigón y el nivel de temperatura. Los resultados obtenidos son analizados y discutidos con foco en la importancia de considerar situaciones de altas temperaturas, en particular de incendios, en estructuras civiles. En dichas condiciones, emergen significativas no linealidades en la respuesta mecánica de la estructura, las cuales podrían provocar un colapso prematuro de la misma. As is well known, reinforced concrete is one of the most widely used materials in the construction industry, and the effect of high temperatures can have a devastating impact on the response of the structures it comprises. Therefore, the objective of this master’s research work is to analyze the impact of elevated temperatures on the punching shear resistance of reinforced concrete elements. To this end, after reviewing the state of the art regarding this behavior at ambient and high temperatures, a reinforced concrete slab-column structural system is numerically modeled at various elevated temperatures, starting from 20ºC. The numerical modeling results are subsequently compared with those obtained using the Critical Shear Crack Theory (CSCT) method, as well as with results from numerical analyses conducted by other authors. In particular, the computational modeling uses the Concrete Damage Plasticity (CDP) constitutive model provided by Abaqus, incorporating the necessary modifications to account for the temperature dependence of thermo-mechanical properties. Finally, a parametric analysis is carried out, considering as the main variables the damage parameters of the constitutive model, the steel quality, the concrete quality, and the temperature level. An analysis of the obtained results and the corresponding discussion will be carried out, focusing on the importance of considering high-temperature scenarios, particularly in the event of fires in civil structures such as the one analyzed in this study. Under these conditions, significant nonlinearities arise in the mechanical response, which could lead to a premature collapse of the overall structure. En la presente tesis se estudió la metalurgia de la soldadura en uniones de materiales de ultra alta resistencia como los aceros maraging grado C250 (MA-C250) y AISI 4130. Se analizaron procesos avanzados como GTAW-P (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding - Pulsed) y Laser Welding (LW). Se analizaron las relaciones entre procesos de soldadura-evolución microestructural y propiedades mecánicas, aportando a la mejor comprensión de los fenómenos que tienen lugar durante la soldadura y los tratamientos térmicos post-soldadura (PWHT) de las uniones soldadas de los materiales mencionados. Se analizaron también distintas condiciones microestructurales del material de partida. Para la caracterización microestructural se emplearon técnicas convencionales de microscopía óptica y electrónica de barrido, análisis EDS (Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy), dilatometría, difracción de rayos X y Calorimetría Diferencial de Barrido. Las propiedades mecánicas fueron evaluadas mediante perfiles de microdureza Vickers, ensayos de tracción y ensayos de micro punzonado (SPT: Small Punch Test). Se realizaron también simulaciones físicas de la Zona Afectada por el Calor del acero MA-C250. El acero AISI 4130 soldado en condición de Recocido mostró en el metal de soldadura (MS) y en la zona afectada por el calor (ZAC) de alta temperatura una alta dureza, debido a la presencia mayoritariamente de martensita fresca asociada a la templabilidad del material y las velocidades de enfriamiento alcanzadas durante la soldadura. En la soldadura en condición de Temple y Revenido, se identificó una zona blanda asociada a la presencia de martensita sobre revenida (ferrita y carburos). Dicha fase no es eliminada con el PWHT de revenido por lo que las propiedades mecánicas finales de la unión soldada quedan gobernadas por esta zona. La soldadura en estado Recocido, seguido de un PWHT de Temple y Revenido resultó ser una alternativa eficaz, ya que no solo elimina la zona blanda ocasionada por el ciclo térmico de soldadura, sino también refina y homogeniza el tamaño de grano a lo largo de toda la unión generando propiedades mecánicas finales similares a las del material base en condición de Temple y Revenido. Para el caso del MA-C250 se observó la presencia de micro segregación de Ni, Mo y Ti en el MS. La ZAC de alta temperatura y el MS transformaron completamente a martensita blanda durante el enfriamiento. En la zona que alcanza temperaturas cercanas a la temperatura de transformación Ac1 se observó una fase en forma de lazos asociada a la austenita revertida (?r). Cuando el material es soldado en condición de envejecido, se detecta una estrecha región sobre envejecida, mientras que cuando el material es soldado en condición de recocido (R) se genera una extensa zona parcialmente envejecida. Luego del PWHT, ambas condiciones de partida alcanzan propiedades mecánicas similares a las del material base en la misma condición de tratamiento térmico. Los lazos asociados a la fase ?r no pueden ser eliminados y aumentan ligeramente de tamaño con el aumento de temperatura de PWHT quedando en ambas condiciones de partida como una zona con menor dureza. En el MS se ha observado una microestructura heterogénea compuesta por islas de ?r y zonas de martensita oscurecida, rodeadas de una matriz de martensita empobrecida en elementos de aleación, siendo el MS la zona de menor dureza promedio a lo largo de toda la unión soldada, controlando las propiedades mecánicas finales de la unión. Mediante simulación física se pudo reproducir la microestructura de la ZAC y se determinaron las propiedades mecánicas de dicha zona. Asimismo, se estudió la cinética de las transformaciones de fase que tienen lugar durante el PWHT. El proceso LW presentó una reducción del tamaño de la junta soldada (MS+ZAC) en relación al GTAW-P, sin embargo, las propiedades mecánicas finales para ambos procesos de soldadura no presentaron diferencias significativas y se obtuvieron eficiencias de junta superiores al 85% para AISI 4130 y mayores al 95% para MA-C250. Para ambos materiales se desarrollaron y calificaron procedimientos de soldadura de acuerdo a la AWS D17.1-12 para la fabricación de carcasas de motores de combustible sólido (SRM) para aplicaciones aeroespaciales, empleando el proceso GTAW-P, sin aporte de material, en una sola pasada y en forma mecanizada. En el caso del acero AISI 4130 se soldaron los sectores de tubos de 160 mm de diámetro y 300 mm de longitud y se realizaron los PWHT. strength steel weldments was studied. Advanced welding processes such as GTAW-P (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Pulsed) and LW (Laser Welding) were analyzed. The relationships between welding process, microstructural evolution and mechanical properties were discussed to improve the understanding of the material evolution during weld thermal cycle and after post-weld heat treatment (PWHT). Different microstructural starting conditions of the analyzed materials were also studied. For microstructural characterization, conventional optical and electron scanning microscopy, EDS analysis, dilatometry, X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry were used. Mechanical properties were evaluated by microhardness profiles, tensile tests and small punch tests. Physical simulation of the heat affected zone (HAZ) in MA-C250 weldments was also evaluated. For AISI 4130 steel welded in annealed condition, the weld metal (WM) and high-temperature HAZ presented a microstructure composed by a hard fresh martensite due to the material hardenability and cooling rates achieved during welding. For the samples welded in quenched and tempered (Q&T) condition, a soft zone associated with the over tempered martensite (ferrite + carbides) was identified in the low temperature HAZ. This soft zone was not removed after the PWHT (tempering) and the final mechanical properties of weldments are determined by this zone. Welding of this material in annealed condition followed by PWHT (Q&T) proved to be an effective alternative, since it not only eliminated the soft zone caused by the weld thermal cycle but also refined and homogenized the grain size throughout the entire joint. The final tensile properties of the weldments were similar to those of the base material under the same Q&T condition. For the MA-C250 weldments, the presence of micro segregation of Ni, Mo and Ti in the WM was observed. The WM and high-temperature HAZ completely transformed to soft martensite during cooling. The zone where the material was heated at temperatures close to Ac1 a loop-shaped phase associated with reverted austenite (?r) was observed. When the material is welding in aged condition, a narrow over-aged region is detected, while when the material is welded in the annealing condition, a large partially aged zone is generated. After PWHT, both starting conditions achieve tensile properties similar to those of the base material under the same heat treatment condition. The observed second phase associated with the ?r was slightly increased in size with increasing PWHT temperature, remaining in both starting conditions as a lower hardness zone. In the WM, a heterogeneous microstructure composed of ?r islands and darkened martensite zones, surrounded by a martensite depleted in alloying elements matrix, has been observed. The WM has the lowest average hardness along the entire welded joint, controlling the final tensile properties of the joint. Through physical simulation, the microstructure of the HAZ was reproduced and the tensile properties of the dark zone was determined. In addition, the kinetics of the phase transformations that take place during PWHT were studied. Compared with the GTAW-P process, the LW presented a smaller welded joint length (WM+HAZ). However, the final tensile properties for both welded joints did not present significant differences. Joint efficiencies higher than 85% were obtained for AISI 4130 and higher than 95% for MA-C250. For both materials, welding procedures were developed and qualified according to AWS D17.1-12 for the manufacture of solid rocket motor (SRM) cases for aerospace applications.
