En esta tesis se estudió y desarrolló un sistema de detección apto para tomografía optoacústica bidimensional que ha logrado gran relevancia dentro del área de imágenes biomédicas. En esta técnica el objeto bajo estudio es iluminado por un láser que emite pulsos de luz monocromática de baja energía (en el rango de microJoules) con una duración típica de algunos nanosegundos. Los perfiles de presión generados por la excitación óptica son captados por un arreglo de sensores o un sensor junto a un sistema de traslación que le permite barrer la zona de interés. Todo esquema basado en la técnica optoacústica se encuentra formado por tres partes esenciales: una fuente de excitación lumínica, un sistema de detección para la captura de las señales ultrasónicas y un sistema de procesamiento de los datos para la obtención de la imagen. Esta tesis se focalizó en la segunda de ellas, lo que involucró la construcción de detectores piezoeléctricos de banda ancha basados en polímeros y la implementación de un esquema tomográfico para la obtención de imágenes. Para esto, se realizaron mediciones eléctricas y ultrasónicas para caracterizar los sensores y validar el método de fabricación. También, se hicieron un conjunto de mediciones sobre el sistema de captación para determinar sus parámetros característicos como el ancho de banda, el ruido, sensibilidad, fluencia láser mínima, apertura del sensor y resolución. Los resultados obtenidos en esta tesis permitirán establecer los criterios para el diseño de algoritmos de reconstrucción para la obtención de imágenes optoacústicas bidimensionales. Los primeros mecanismos, como Robust Header Compression (RoHC), usan un contexto para almacenar valores de los campos del encabezado y enviar diferencias incrementales más pequeñas en el enlace. Los valores almacenados en el contexto evolucionan dinámicamente con la información enviada en el encabezado comprimido. El desafío en la compresión dinámica es mantener los contextos del remitente y del receptor sincronizados incluso cuando se tienen pérdidas de paquetes. Basado en el hecho de que IPv6 contiene solo campos estáticos, 6LoWPAN desarrolló un mecanismo de compresión eficiente sin contexto, permitiendo una mejor flexibilidad y rendimiento. La compresión de encabezado de contexto estático, o en inglés Static Context Header Compression (SCHC), combina las ventajas del contexto RoHC que ofrece un gran nivel de flexibilidad en el procesamiento de campos y las ventajas del comportamiento 6LoWPAN para omitir campos que son conocido en ambos extremos. Que el contexto sea estático significa que los valores de los elementos que componen el contexto no son aprendidos durante el intercambio de paquetes sino que están previamente detenidos y no cambian durante la transmisión, evitando así complejos mecanismos de resincronización incompatibles con las características de LPWAN. De esta manera, se propone plantear una solución estándar a los problemas que presentan hoy en día los dispositivos IoT que utilizan tecnologías LPWAN para estar conectados a Internet. Desde hace ya dos decadas, los fabricantes de automoviles han abandonado las conexiones punto a punto para la comunicacion de los distintos sistemas dentro del vehiculo. En cambio, se han concentrado en el uso de buses embebidos tales como Controller Area Network (CAN) o Local Interconnect Network (LIN) para proveer a los distintos dispositivos de una red de comunicacion. Este fue un gran paso hacia una mayor robustez y escalabilidad tanto asi como a la reduccion de tamaño y costo de estos sistemas. En estos ultimos años, con el desarrollo de las Redes de Sensores Inalambricas (WSN) y el despliegue de los dispositivos de Internet of Things (IoT), se realizan esfuerzos de investigacion para introducir tambien esta tecnologia en los automoviles. Un buen paso en esa direccion, y la motivacion de esta tesis, es la realizacion de pruebas de concepto que permitan analizar la viabilidad y el posible alcance de esta tecnologia para sistemas de comunicacion de vehiculos electricos. Con este fin, se crea un marco de trabajo completo para recolectar datos del tren de potencia de un automovil electrico y ofrecerlos a otros dispositivos del mismo por medio de un servidor Constrained Application Protocolo (CoAP) a traves de una red IEEE802.15.4-TSCH. Tambien se construye un panel de control, que incluye un cliente CoAP para realizar el consumo de datos presentandoselos al conductor. Ademas, a nivel MAC, se trabaja sobre el schedule TSCH para adaptar las transmisiones de la red al comportamiento del vehiculo. Por ultimo se realiza un analisis de seguridad teorico teniendo en cuenta los estandares actuales de IoT.
