En la presente memoria se describe el desarrollo y fabricación de un n prototipo funcional de un sistema capaz de realizar lecturas de un dosímetro usado en sesiones de radioterapia para medir dosis de absorción. Este desarrollo fue realizado para el Instituto de Tecnologías y Ciencias de la Ingeniería (INTECIN) de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas. El dosímetro es un desarrollo original del INTECIN y se basa en un transistor de efecto campo que cambia su voltaje umbral cuando está expuesto a radiación ionizante. El sistema estima la dosis absorbida leyendo el voltaje umbral antes y después de la sesión de radiación, controlando los factores ambientales para una correcta medición. Tiene una interfaz de usuario fácil de usar que permite al personal de radioterapia operarlo con un teclado numérico o una computadora. Para llevar a cabo el desarrollo de este sistema se aplicaron conocimientos adquiridos en la especialización como metodologías de gestión de proyectos, sistemas operativos de tiempo real, protocolos de comunicación, metodologías de testing y fabricación de circuitos impresos. Para llevar a cabo este trabajo se aplicaron conocimientos de programación de microcontroladores Cortex-M4, protocolos de comunicación y programación multithread en Python.
