Esta memoria documenta el desarrollo de un prototipo validado en laboratorio de un sistema de monitoreo de temperatura para las cajas de punta de eje de trenes que permite la detección temprana de estas fallas en forma remota. Dentro de las funcionalidades que incorpora el sistema se pueden mencionar: visualización de temperaturas a través de una aplicación multiplataforma, alta de usuarios y visualización del valor instantáneo medido, entre otras. Este prototipo fue desarrollado en el marco del grupo de Grupo de Investigación en Seguridad y Aplicaciones Ferroviarias del CONICET y la Universidad de Buenos Aires a pedido de la empresa Trenes Argentinos con el objetivo de sustituir importaciones. Esta propuesta surge como una extensión o derivado del trabajo presentado “Análisis de Precisiones de las Técnicas de Medición GNSS: RTK y NTRIP”- La intensión fue encontrar un método alternativo y confiable que permita la determinación de deflexión de la vertical en un punto. Rápidamente se recuerda que la deflexión de la vertical en un topocentro es la diferencia angular entre su vertical y su normal al elipsoide de referencia. Si el elipsoide es absoluto, nos referiremos a deflexión absoluta y si el elipsoide es relativo, nos referiremos a deflexión relativa. A su vez, este ángulo es quien define la posición relativa entre los sistemas horizontales geodésico y astronómico que se pueden construir en dicho topocentro. La idea fue entonces aprovechar la existencia de una red de puntos medida y ajustada que provee para cada punto la cota geodésica y en consecuencia, posibilita el cálculo del desnivel por diferencias de cotas geodésicas y comparar estos desniveles con los obtenidos con nivelación geométrica. Debe visualizarse que en el primer caso (cotas geodésicas) se trabaja con la normal y en el segundo (nivelación geométrica) con la vertical. La influencia de la deflexión de la vertical es probablemente despreciable para algunos casos, fundamentalmente en el posicionamiento horizontal; pero su influencia en el aspecto altimétrico no puede dejar de analizarse y considerarse según corresponda. Una “deflexión de la vertical” del orden de los 15 o 20” en un punto (valores totalmente aceptables en nuestra provincia), genera a 1000 m de distancia diferencias altimétricas que pueden ir desde 0 a 10 cm según la dirección adoptada, y ello evidentemente puede ser crucial en trabajos como tendido de red cloacal, riego, entre otros. La forma de contrastar la bondad de los datos obtenidos es tras la comparación con un modelo de Geoide que devuelva también componentes de la deflexión de la vertical. Si los resultados son los esperados la propuesta final será evitar la nivelación geométrica y obtener desniveles geométricos con muy buena aproximación tras una corrección por influencia de la deflexión de la vertical (obtenida de un modelo) a las observaciones GNSS. La respuesta de estructuras a acciones dinámicas depende de sus frecuencias naturales, sus modos de vibración y sus factores de amortiguamiento, parámetros todos ellos cuya determinación analítica o numérica es difícil de realizar con precisión. A su vez, el cambio en estos parámetros a lo largo de la vida útil de una estructura puede resultar en un indicador y alerta temprana de daño estructural, cambio en las condiciones de los apoyos, deterioro de uniones, etc. Por lo tanto, desarrollar una forma eficaz de determinar experimentalmente frecuencias y modos de vibración de estructuras de varios grados de libertad resulta de gran utilidad para el diseño, verificación y mantenimiento preventivo de infraestructura civil. En este trabajo se explica el método utilizado, la intersección de visuales, para definir y obtener la posición de los ejes de giro de su cañón laser. Se muestran el procedimiento y los resultados obtenidos en reciente medición en el caso de AGGO (Observatorio Geodésico Argentino Alemán).
