En este trabajo se proponen y comparan nuevas técnicas de metrología óptica basadas en procesamiento de imágenes y señales digitales que son utilizadas en el análisis de materiales, procesos de microfabricación y funcionalidad de microsistemas. Dado que los se fabrican típicamente con las mismas técnicas que las utilizadas en la industria de dispositivos semiconductores, estas técnicas de inspección óptica son trasladables a dicho campo de la ingeniería. Los métodos propuestos de inspección óptica en microsistemas con rugosidades en la escala de la longitud de onda de iluminación se diseñaron haciendo uso de conocidas propiedades del fenómeno de speckle. Particularmente, se evalúan micro y nanodesplazamientos fuera del plano en muestras sujetas a deformaciones. Se presenta una ampliación de la técnica de reconstrucción no lineal exacta de la holografía digital que mejora la recuperación de la fase óptica en métodos interferométricos que utilizan modulación de portadora. Se muestra que el agregado de la utilización de transformaciones no lineales en determinados coecientes de la transformada wavelet del interferograma analizado, permite estimar la fase óptica sin los efectos indeseados que produce la presencia de una intensidad de fondo. Se introduce también un nuevo método para la estimación directa de la fase óptica a partir de un patrón interferométrico ruidoso mediante suavizado spline implícito (ISS). A continuación, se presenta un método simplificado para la recuperación de fase óptica del haz de objeto en interferometría temporal de patrones de speckle (TSPI). El mismo se basa en una modulación compleja numérica de las señales temporales de intensidad y un posterior filtrado complejo que recupera la evolución espacio-temporal de la fase del objeto. Aquí se utiliza un marco de descomposición bivariada en modos empíricos que evita la aplicación de la transformada de Hilbert para el estudio de señales de amplitud y frecuencia moduladas. La Tesis concluye con el diseño, la implementación y comparación de métodos basados en la descomposición bivariada en modos empíricos y la descomposición intrínseca de escala-tiempo para la reconstrucción de la fase óptica del objeto en TSPI a tiempo real. Esta nueva modalidad favorece el estudio de eventos dinámicos ligados al diseño y desarrollo de microsistemas. Los nuevos métodos de análisis a tiempo real evitan la aplicación de la transformada de Hilbert y mejoran la exactitud de la medición mediante la detección de los píxeles propensos a errores y su filtrado por triangulación de píxeles confiables. Los enfoques propuestos son comparados entre sí con índices apropiados de calidad, rendimiento y robustez frente al ruido, así como también se discuten las ventajas y limitaciones asociadas a cada método. El desempeño se evalúa mediante la comparación de la precisión de reconstrucción de la fase óptica y los tiempos de cálculo involucrados en el procesamiento de imágenes obtenidas por simulaciones numéricas. Para completar el análisis, se estudiaron imágenes experimentales obtenidas usando esquemas ópticos de interferometría e interferometría heterodina por desplazamiento de fase de pi/2 en simultáneo para inspección de polímeros, dispositivos piezoeléctricos y fallas mecánicas en piezas metálicas. This work proposes and discusses new optical metrology techniques based on digital signal and image processing that are used in the analysis of materials, microfabrication processes and the functionality of microsystems. Given that microsystems are typically manufactured by using the same techniques as in semiconductor devices industry, the proposed optical techniques are applicable to such _eld of engineering. The proposed methods applied on microsystems with rugosity in the wavelentgh scale were designed by considering the well known properties of speckle _elds. Particularly, a set of methods were evaluated in their performance to determine out-of-plane micro and nanodisplacements in samples subject to deformations. We extended the exact nonlinear reconstruction technique developed for digital holography to improve the phase recovery issue in interferometric methods, that use carrier modulation. It is shown that the analysis of the ridge of the complex wavelet coe_cients corresponding to a nonlinear transformation of the analyzed interferogram can be closely related to the optical phase of the sample minimizing the inuence of the background intensity. We introduce an algorithm for direct phase estimation from a single noisy interferometric pattern by means of implicit smoothing spline (ISS). A simpli_ed method for object phase recovering is also implemented in temporal speckle pattern interferometry by means of a numerical complex modulation and a posterior isolation of the spatiotemporal evolution of the object phase. We use a bivariate empirical mode decomposition framework that avoids the application of the Hilbert transform to analyse amplitude and frequency modulated signals. This Thesis concludes with the design, implementation and comparison of three real-time methods for object phase recovering in temporal speckle pattern interferometry by means of bivariate empirical mode and intrinsic time-scale decompositions. The study of dynamic events linked with the design and development of microsystems is favored by this new real-time processing. The proposed real-time methods avoid the application of the Hilbert transform and improve the accuracy of the measurement by triangulation _ltering of undermodulated pixels. The proposed approaches are compared with state of the art techniques in terms of performance and noise robustness, and the advantages and limitations associated to each method are also discussed. The performance is evaluated by comparing the accuracy of the recovered phase and the computation time by means of numerical simulations. El arbolado público del Área Metropolitana de Mendoza conforma un valioso socio-ecosistema que aporta múltiples beneficios a la calidad de vida urbana, entre estos se encuentran la reducción de la temperatura, la mejora de la calidad del aire, la regulación de la iluminación natural. Además, este entorno de calles con acequias y arbolado es un atractivo turístico y patrimonio cultural. La necesidad de conservación y mejora del arbolado se ve ampliado en un contexto de cambio climático y de usos del agua del oasis. La investigación se apoya en análisis espacial con herramientas avanzadas de Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) y teledetección, a la vez de integrar el conocimiento de referentes y gestores del arbolado. El Sistema de Gestión digital del Arbolado Público “Mi Árbol”, implementado en 2021 es un gran avance hacia la gestión digital, sin embargo, se han identificado aspectos que dificultan su uso efectivo en la gestión, entre ellos, la relación de recursos humanos y los errores detectados en las mediciones, así como la falta de actualizaciones de eventos importantes como caídas de árboles o erradicaciones. Estas deficiencias afectan la fiabilidad del sistema y obstaculizan la capacidad de toma de decisiones informadas en la gestión. La medición precisa del arbolado y de las características del entorno es fundamental para el desarrollo de indicadores que optimicen la gestión del arbolado urbano. Al implementar métodos de cuantificación que incluyan el análisis de la densidad de árboles, la cobertura de canopia, la biodiversidad de especies y las condiciones del entorno, se pueden obtener datos relevantes que permitan evaluar la salud del ecosistema urbano. Estos indicadores no sólo facilitan la identificación de áreas críticas que requieren intervención, sino que también permiten establecer correlaciones entre el arbolado y factores ambientales, como la calidad del aire y la temperatura. De esta manera, una gestión basada en datos objetivos y medibles promueve la sostenibilidad del arbolado, maximizando sus beneficios ecosistémicos y mejorando la calidad de vida de la población.
